Climate resilient community (CRC)
The main goal of Climate Resilient Community is to enhance climate awareness and promote sustainable environmental practices in underserved and marginalized regions, particularly in Bannu. The initiative is designed to address the gap in environmental education by equipping local populations with the knowledge and tools necessary to respond effectively to climate-related challenges. It seeks to implement targeted awareness campaigns, advance afforestation and plantation efforts, and encourage responsible waste management practices. By adopting a grassroots approach, the community aims to foster long-term behavioral change, strengthen local capacity, and ensure inclusive participation in environmental stewardship. Ultimately, the objective is to build resilient communities capable of adapting to climate impacts while contributing to ecological sustainability and improved quality of life.
